this picture should have more then the amounts of notes it has, this shows us that not ever thing is “picture perfect” and that behind that smile and those eyes there is fear . So i beg you to please reblog this instead of a pair of shoes, someone smoking a blunt, and clothes … because this picture is literally worth 1,000 words

This is insanely powerful.

lizywkim:

wow, please reblog this.

Oh Lord, the amount of power in this picture

When I scrolled down and saw the second picture I felt my stomach actually drop.

I  had to take a deep breath…this hit really close to home.

In case you haven’t been paying attention, a massive F4-F5 mile wide tornado hit Moore, Oklahoma this afternoon, wiping out elementary schools and neighborhoods in the process.

This is about ten miles from where I lived from 2007-2012. I drove through this area a few times a week. That movie theater is my favorite movie theater in the OKC area.

I just can’t handle it.

A tornado ripped through this exact area in 1999 and roughly 40 people died. They’re saying this was 3x worse than that.

I get homesick a lot, but it hurts so much more when stuff like this happens. Oklahoma has the most resilient people, so I know everything will be fine. It just hurts my heart so much to see this.
